Responsibilities

  • Lead our global immigration strategy and policy, designing scalable frameworks and governance aligned with DoorDash’s talent and business goals.
  • Oversee global immigration operations, including direct accountability for our US portfolio - our largest and most complex - ensuring compliance, consistency, and operational excellence.
  • Manage and develop immigration professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Partner across Legal, Talent Acquisition, and People Operations to integrate immigration into business planning and enable global workforce mobility.
  • Drive vendor performance, process improvements, and scalable initiatives that enhance compliance, efficiency, and employee experience, helping to future-proof our operations.
  • Support M&A and new-market expansion by leading immigration due diligence and designing solutions that ensure smooth transitions and operational readiness.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert and trusted advisor, offering pragmatic, business-aligned guidance to stakeholders globally.

Skills

  • 6–10 years of global immigration experience with deep expertise across multiple jurisdictions, including US and EMEA.
  • Experience leading immigration programs in multinational, fast-paced environments, balancing compliance, business enablement, and employee experience.
  • Experience managing and developing immigration professionals and driving vendor performance and accountability.
  • Strong communicator and problem-solver who can simplify complexity and partner effectively across functions.
  • Ability to think strategically but also dive into details to make things happen.
  • Curiosity about using new tools - including AI - to enhance efficiency, insights, and the employee experience.
  • Act with integrity, adaptability, and sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
