Job Overview & Responsibilities:

The Clinical Engagement Specialist (CES) develops brand awareness and builds relationships with allied health professional students (PT, OT, SLP, AT) and faculty in their region. They coordinate university events and professional development sessions with university partners and the PTS Learning and Development team.

An effective CES also enhances alumni relationships to attract qualified candidates. Success is measured by new contacts, student engagement, pipeline maintenance, and clinical placements. The CES focuses on students within six months of graduation, balancing campus presence, event organization, and support for clinician hiring. The team is ideally looking for candidates local to Jacksonville, FL or Austin, TX. 

 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • National and State Event attendance for recruiting and university networking
  • Presence on campus for presentations, event support, career fairs and student/faculty relationship development
  • Development of Alumni pipelines through university relationships
  • Develop and maintain a draft board of students within 6 months graduation
  • Partner with Sourcer on greater than 6 months to graduation draft board maintenance
  • Prioritize university relationship development in regions – based on event attendance, historical hires, students on draft board
  • In person student contact and mentor
  • Adjunct teaching and lab presence
  • Complete Rotation Roundups for student interns within 6 months of graduation (strong leads passed to TAP in appropriate region)
  • Plan and lead quarterly student intern community events
  • Up to date metric maintenance in CRM
  • Delivery of Partnership school items with report out on university relationship health with identification of trends and barriers for growth
  • Identify new university relationship opportunities in region
  • Annual update to Event Tracker to delete or add events for the following year based on best ROI
  • On site student intern support
  • As needed for clinician interviews/tours – new grad or seasoned

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple relationships
  • Strong interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and in a group setting, with high integrity, reasoned and thoughtful judgment, a sense of urgency and analytical and intuitive skills.
  • Demonstrates proactivity and follow-through in all initiatives.
  • Ownership of results tracking and ability to achieve measurable targets.
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to deliver tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong customer service skills, customer service driven, positive attitude, and ability to provide specific and timely feedback.
  • Excellent presentation and time management skills.
  • Understanding of scholarships, awards, and institutional giving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Windows-based applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive data.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

 

REQUIRED CREDENTIALS   

  • Licensed clinician (PT/OT/SLP/ATC) with status in good standing preferred
  • 3+ years years clinical experience
  • History of student engagement as a Clinical Instructor
  • Ability to learn, understand and communicate PT Solutions history, culture, support and expectations with potential candidates
  • Discuss and educate PTS professional development opportunities (residency, mentorship, clinical growth, etc.) with qualified candidates
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting goals and success metrics
  • Previous experience leading teams
  • 30% travel is required in US
