The Education Sales Consultant will be responsible for developing new business relationships with educational institutions, leading the sales cycle, and ensuring client satisfaction through customized staffing solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Prospecting, developing, and securing new business relationships, focusing on educational institutions and school districts.
  • Leading the sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to closing deals, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Developing customized staffing solutions that address the unique needs of schools and educational clients.
  • Presenting and demonstrating Kelly Education’s services, staffing solutions, and value propositions to potential clients.
  • Building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with decision-makers in schools, districts, and educational organizations.
  • Collaborating with internal teams (recruiting, operations, etc.) to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction.

Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience, with a strong focus on B2B net new sales (education sector experience is a plus)
  • Demonstrated success in selling staffing solutions or services in a competitive market
  • Strong understanding of the educational landscape and staffing industry trends
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities with a results-oriented approach
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Candidates must have the ability to travel via car or plane 60% of the time or more for client meetings and conferences
  • Candidates are required to live in one of the following states in the south region to be considered for the role - Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. Alabama, Texas, Western Tennessee, Southern Missouri, or Southern Kansas.
