DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Manage the end-to-end data visualization development, from data sourcing to reporting. Spearhead exploration efforts of new business intelligence tools to assess their potential for future use and modeling within the Merchant Services Analytics group (i.e. ThoughtSpot). Manage an extensive book of work for BAU and project work. Collaborate and build lasting intelligent solutions. Extract data from various database platforms. Collaborate with business stakeholders to create a revised revenue realization tool to help the sales team manage merchants more effectively, improving client experiences and strategically transitioning challenging clients into profitable customers. Automate manual periodic reporting tasks. Develop internal utility tools to streamline these processes, increasing efficiency and freeing up bandwidth for impactful projects that contribute to the firm's bottom line. Engage in and manage multiple data projects with unique roadmaps and development phases, including simple data ingestion for dashboard creation to complex exploratory research and internal development for process automation before reaching end-users. Act as a subject-matter expert in Machine Learning and various analytics tools. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel for attending domestic conferences or visiting other JPMC offices in connection with project responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Business, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Visualization, Data Analyst, Systems Engineer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Creating dashboards using Tableau Server/Online, and data blending; Designing data workflows using Alteryx Designer and Alteryx Server; Snowflake architecture, data modeling, and transformation; Big data processing using Databricks and Apache Spark; Managing worksheets, pinboards, and data modeling using ThoughtSpot; Visualization and scripting using Qlik Sense or QlikView; Administering, customizing, and reporting using Salesforce; Advanced querying, complex joins, and performance tuning using SQL; Data analysis using Python and libraries including Pandas and NumPy; Machine Learning tools such as scikit-learn; Version control, branching, and merging using GIT; Project tracking and agile methodologies using JIRA; Setting up and troubleshooting ODBC Connections; Designing and managing data using Relational Databases including Snowflake, Databricks, Oracle, and SQL Server; Processing and optimizing large-scale data using Spark or PySpark; Managing large datasets including structured and unstructured data and KPI analysis; Project Management including planning, executing, and monitoring projects.
