Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Warehouse Supervisor to lead our 3rd shift operations at our Park City, KS facility. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse activity during the night shift, ensuring optimal productivity, safety compliance, and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence to support our team and drive continuous improvement.

  • Supervise and coordinate all 3rd shift warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods
  • Manage and motivate a team of warehouse associates to meet productivity goals and maintain high-quality standards
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to maintain accuracy
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues that arise during the shift
  • Collaborate with other shift supervisors to ensure smooth transitions and consistent operations
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on shift performance, productivity, and any incidents
  • Train new employees on warehouse procedures and equipment usage
  • Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, OSHA regulations, and industry standards
  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday 9:30pm - 7:00am (may vary depending on business needs) and weekends as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse supervision, preferably in a 3rd shift environment
  • 7+ years of experience in warehousing and distribution
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) required; experience with SAP strongly preferred
  • Experience with forklift operation and other warehouse equipment
  • Must be available to work third-shift hours and occasional overtime as required to meet operational demands

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Thorough knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA regulations
  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain management principles
  • Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Experience working in a Union environment
