COMPANY OVERVIEW:

VSS LOGISTICS is seeking a qualified, motivated individual for the position of Warehouse/Site Manager. This position is located in Warner Robins, Georgia.

VSS Logistics, LLC, is a Tailored Logistics Supply (TLS) company that offers customized solutions for a demanding environment. VSS started as a small business in Savannah, GA; we now have over 130 employees working at multiple sites across the United States. We are dedicated to finding a Site/Warehouse Manager that will be a cohesive fit for our company and, most importantly, our customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

· Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with contract/company policies and vision

· Management/oversight of ~28 personnel

· Oversee receiving, inventory, and kitting operations and adhere to all requirements

· Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational procedures to meet/exceed contractual requirements

· Manage stock control and reconcile with inventory management systems

· Serve as VSS Logistics site liaison to communicate and collaborate with customer and employees

· Providing daily status reports to VSS Logistics’ program management office and customer site management

· Accountable for the team’s performance metrics for the assigned tasks

· Oversight and documentation of employee training

· Responsible for implementing and achieving an ongoing positive VSS culture that includes professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and respect

· Remain agile and adaptable to shift employees from areas of strength to those of critical weakness to ensure task completion

REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be able to clear contractor-required background screening

· Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening

· 3+ years experience in warehousing, inventory control, quality, manufacturing and/or material handling management is required

· Experienced with inventory management systems/platforms

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with internal and external contacts at various levels

· Previous staff management experience with proven record of success

· Strong decision making and problem-solving skills

· Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office is required (Word, Excel)

· Must be highly accurate and detail-oriented

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Motivate and inspire employees to maintain a results-oriented team focused on the needs of the customer

· Previous experience with government contract work is preferred, but not mandatory.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
