Key Responsibilities

  • Transcribe audio content accurately into text.
  • Translate dialogue into target languages while maintaining context, tone, and cultural nuances (if multilingual).
  • Create precise time codes (spotting) for subtitles to synchronize perfectly with on-screen dialogue and events.
  • Segment subtitles appropriately to ensure readability and flow.
  • Adhere strictly to Netflix's style guides, technical specifications, and quality standards.
  • Review and proofread subtitles for grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and factual inaccuracies.
  • Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Utilize specialized subtitling software efficiently after training.
