<p>The SPP Senior Account Solutions Manager is a pivotal role within the Staples Promotional Products division. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of internal client support and serves as the primary internal interface for assigned customer accounts. Working in partnership with our field sales team, you will influence desired profitability goals and drive the implementation and ongoing execution of client activities across all internal support departments.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Evaluate pros and cons of different solutions and consistently make sound decisions in managing all facets of client program business in relationship to client budget and service model.</li> <li>Establish and maintain effective customer relationships while identifying opportunities and delivering solutions that meet the customer's expectations.</li> <li>Serve as the primary internal lead for assigned accounts, in partnership with field sales to drive customer objectives.</li> <li>Influence, analyze, and manage target expectations for margin as it relates to the client service model.</li> <li>Influence, analyze, and manage assortments to achieve profitable SKU count measurements.</li> <li>Advanced knowledge in utilizing tools, data, and other resources to prepare and present client product selections.</li> <li>Create marketing plans by analyzing and utilizing data to drive customer revenue.</li> <li>Support site sale or tradeshow experiences utilizing and/or selling client branded merchandise.</li> <li>Aid in Customer Business Reviews.</li> <li>Sustain global services knowledge and skillset, identify opportunities and implement solutions that expand services internationally.</li> <li>Participate and provide input and ideas in support of our ongoing effort to improve the overall customer service and retention.</li> <li>Apply principles and concepts consistently and with autonomy, requiring occasional guidance.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you bring to the table:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Expectation to create an inclusive environment, encouraging strategic thought/planning/execution while holding support teams accountable for deliverables.</li> <li>Clear direction and project management leadership to all support teams in implementing and managing solutions for assigned customers, providing appropriate and timely internal and external communications with autonomy and minimal guidance.</li> <li>Enhanced knowledge of decoration methods and product capabilities; applying customer brand standards as applicable.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience in a related field</li> <li>Excellent “business” communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal and external stakeholders and support functions.</li> <li>Demonstrates strong professional acumen and skills in salesmanship and managing difficult relationships.</li> <li>Excellent ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and meet required deadlines.</li> <li>Excellent demonstrated project management skills; formal training desired.</li> <li>Strong skills in the area of “strategic business sense”, including marketing strategy, pro-active ideation, profitability awareness and analytical skills.</li> <li>Requires a self-motivated and energetic personality.</li> <li>Flexibility to travel when necessary based on account needs.</li> <li>Solid PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree</li> </ul>
