<p><b>If you are an internal associate, please login to Workday and apply through Jobs Hub.</b></p><p><b><u>Job Purpose</u></b></p><p>Evaluates training needs and develops eLearning solutions through the application and use of various adult learning principles and eLearning technology tools. Conducts training needs assessments and develops training plans, eLearning courses, programs, and evaluations using instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles. Collaborates with management and other stakeholders in the execution of the corporate-wide eLearning strategy.</p><p><b><u>Essential Responsibilities</u></b></p><ul><li>Effectively executes the following phases of instructional design methodology: needs analysis, learning objective generation, course outlining, storyboard development, eLearning course development, and creation of participant materials and effective assessments. Determines the components, learning strategies and structure for each course or program, collaborating with management, stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) throughout the development process.</li><li>Provides leadership and guidance to team members and stakeholders surrounding new technologies and standards. Remains current on best practices related to content development, materials, multi-media; identifies opportunities and recommends solutions to streamline the production process.</li><li>Recognizes opportunities to enhance learning experiences by optimizing content sequencing, information flow, and media relevance, and promptly develops and implements effective solutions to support successful outcomes.</li><li>Assesses capabilities, strengths and opportunities of new and existing eLearning design and development tools, and recommends changes and upgrades to Jackson’s eLearning software or processes.</li><li>Develops graphics for use in other materials for other HR-related programs and initiatives.</li><li>Reviews deliverables for completeness, compliance with company standards, and consistency with design documents and company brand.</li><li>Confirms that learning objectives are met, based on results of audience and needs analysis results.</li><li>Identifies opportunities for process improvement and implements enhancements as needed.</li><li>Reviews and revises content based on feedback from team members, SMEs, management and other stakeholders, effectively resolving conflicts and making informed changes to support the achievement of program goals.</li><li><p>Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned.</p></li></ul><p><b><u>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</u></b></p><ul><li>Strong knowledge and application of adult learning theory and instructional design principles with a strong focus on eLearning/graphic design and training methodologies, using the latest interactive learning technologies.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of various eLearning development and graphic design tools, such as Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise, etc.), Camtasia, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of recording and editing audio for use in eLearning.</li><li>Ability to set up, record and edit video segments to support learning initiatives.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Knowledge of SCORM or AICC principles and experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).</li><li>Proven ability to design effective eLearning training programs and assess their impact on employee performance.</li><li>Self-motivated and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.</li><li>Demonstrates exceptional planning and prioritization skills, with strong time and project management abilities; effectively manages multiple projects simultaneously, consistently meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities or project scopes, while maintaining a high standard of quality and timely completion.</li><li>Knowledge of microlearning strategies and implementation.</li><li>Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ensures all materials and deliverables comply with accessibility standards (such as WCAG and ADA), promoting inclusive and equitable access for all users.</li><li>Develops graphics, job aids, guides, marketing and other materials to support organizational or department initiatives and instructor-led programs.</li></ul><p><b><u>Qualifications</u></b></p><ul><li>Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent experience required.</li><li>5+ years of experience in instructional design, curriculum design or eLearning required.</li><li>3+ years of experience specifically in the design of eLearning courses required.</li><li>Experience in building eLearning strategies to support corporate initiatives.</li><li>Ability to provide an eLearning portfolio demonstrating a proven ability to make compelling and cohesive courses.</li><li>Experience working in a corporate environment designing training systems, procedures and programs preferred.</li></ul><p>We don\'t just accept difference - we celebrate it, we support it, and we thrive on it for the benefit of our employees, our products and our community.
