These tasks listed below provide a basic guide of your daily duties. Essential Duties/Tasks: Work with a team of other security specialists in a retail store environment ensuring customer and employee safety.Patrol assigned post on foot to maintain visibility, observe, and report unusual activity.Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions which might endanger the client, its associates, or public safety.Maintain all daily assigned equipment in functional and presentable condition.Respond to all requests for assistance relayed by Supervisor or client; complete various company or client assignments as required.Investigate security related accidents/incidents, interview witnesses, complaints, and victims; gather physical evidence and preserve it for future use. Investigate and report fires, evacuations, hazardous situations/other facility related events, and provide backup for client personnel.Crowd control and assisting public safety or other officials during these processes; maintain control at traffic accidents, assist victims, and investigate causes.Ensure that all employees on client property have a proper client issued identification.Ensure that the client, its associates, and retail sales personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment.Write reports upon request.De-escalate and/or escort disruptive patrons from client properties.Conduct parking enforcement duties, to include, issuing parking notices, facilitate towing of vehicles, de-escalating parking disputes, and coordinating with law enforcement.Proactively greet and assist customers and employees.Uniform attire and grooming standards must be always maintained while in uniform.Remain calm and provide direction to other employees during critical incidents.Assist client employees, customers, and visitors with questions, directions, and general inquiries.Respond to medical emergencies and provide basic first aid, CPR, and AED as certified.Conduct exterior door checks to ensure doors, and gates are secure and functioning properly.Conduct exterior building checks for glass breaks, maintenance issues or hazards.Conduct Mobile Patrols at client campuses throughout the Santa Clara ValleyConduct regular inspection of all necessary equipment (including radios, bikes, and vehicles) and accessories to ensure operational condition.Work with other client employees at special events.Participate in daily briefings to receive updated information in preparation of shift.Observe and escalate situations involving suspicious persons or situations.Any other duties as assigned by Trident.Required Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous security experience preferred. Required License/Certification:Must possess a valid/current California Driver's License.Must possess a valid/current BSIS guard card.
