We encourage prospective applicants to take some time to review videos on our <a data-faitracker-click-bind="true" href="https://www.youtube.com/c/Immersevr">YouTube channel </a>that provide more context on our approach to teaching. </p> <p>Your Role:</p> <ul><li>Conduct interactive Brazilian Portuguese lessons in a virtual reality space to adult learners. Instructors teach via a desktop app and must have access to a personal computer that meets *system requirements. </li><li>Prepare for sessions using provided lesson plans and contribute to their continuous improvement based on class experiences.</li><li>Perform administrative tasks such as community management on our platforms, reporting any issues or bugs, and ensuring smooth classroom operations.</li><li>Participate in all training sessions and meetings organized by the Education Department to stay aligned with Immerse's pedagogical approaches and engagement strategies.</li><li><em>Note</em>: Guides are compensated for training, preparation, meetings and additional work that is requested of them.</li><li>Starting at $12.00-$20.00 USD per hour.
