They are seeking a Leave Administrator to manage employee leave programs and support benefits administration, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies.Responsibilities• Process leaves of absence for all leave-related employee benefit programs.• Advise employees on company policy, guidelines, and documentation requirements.• Provide employees with leave of absence paperwork and ensure that it is completed correctly, recorded, and filed in a timely manner.• Monitor and track absence status, documentation, and return to work dates.• Partner with third party administrator and internal payroll to ensure correct and timely leave payment, inclusive of benefit premium deductions.• Partner with managers to develop modified work scheduling or return to work accommodations related to leave of absences and ADAs.• Conduct themselves in a professional and empathetic manner in order to navigate employees’ sensitive situations while also abiding by company policy.• Drafts and/or recommends revisions to Company leave policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.• May be involved in plan design and vendor selection and oversight.• Handles benefits arrears for employees on leave.• Maintains knowledge of all applicable leave and accommodation laws including the FMLA, ADA, and state and local laws.• Analyzes state leave laws to identify compliance gaps and potential updates to our policies/processes.• Supports benefits administration projects such as Open Enrollment system configuration, processing qualifying life events, and other benefit-related activities, as directed.• Collaborates with the Benefits Analyst on benefit administration activities and provides coverage during absences.• Assists in employee education around benefits and leave programs, ensuring consistent understanding across the workforce.• Performs other HR-related duties and projects as assigned.• Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.Skills• A minimum of 3+ years of human resource experience.• Experience working with leave of absence.• Must have strong organizational skills.• Must possess sound communication skills.• Must be technically savvy with the ability to learn and navigate human resource software.• Bachelor’s degree.• Experience or exposure to benefits administration.• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.• Ability to flex across both leave and benefits responsibilities to provide team coverage and ensure seamless employee support.Benefits• Comprehensive health plans• Paid time off• Retirement savings• Corporate wellness• Educational assistance• Corporate discounts• And moreCompany Overview• Acentra Health is a provider of clinical services and technological solutions to government healthcare organizations.
