About the Role 

Be part of our talented software development team and help construct a platform that is revolutionizing the way we do e-commerce. You're not just a tester—you're the last line of defense in creating an unforgettable, world-class experience for our customers. 


Responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding of the business requirements and applications and incorporate these as inputs to planning, requirements definition, and design process for new software products and features, with an eye toward testability

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure our applications are thoroughly tested

  • Perform functional, regression, usability, API, non-functional and post-release testing on various web and mobile applications

  • Write, enhance, execute, and document manual and automated test plans, test scripts, and test cases

  • Identify and document bugs, defects, and issues found during testing, researching and identifying root causes as appropriate, and documenting accordingly

  • Ensure that the root cause of the issues is addressed

  • Assures compliance for delivered wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes

  • Take an active role in establishing processes, guidelines, and best practices for testing

  • Create documentation on the implementation of the testing phases


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

  • At least 2 years of working experience in a software QA role or a related position

  • Knowledge and understanding of IT Quality Assurance testing concepts, applications, methodologies, and best practices

  • Sharp eye for detail, with excellent communication and documentation skills

  • Working knowledge of programming languages and development platforms is a plus

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment is a plus

  • Experience in API and backend testing is a plus

  • Experience in automation testing using Jest, Selenium, or other similar tools is a plus

  • Can be available online from 10pm to 2am or 5am onwards PH time
