Job Description: Are you a project manager passionate about driving digital commerce initiatives? At Merkle, a leader in customer experience management and part of the dentsu network, we're looking for a dynamic Senior Project Manager, Digital Commerce Transformation to lead transformative ecommerce projects for top-tier clients. In this remote role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage complex enterprise engagements, and deliver innovative solutions that shape the future of digital commerce. You will report to the Director, Project Management. This is a remote role. Employees within 90 min of our NY, MI, or IL offices may expect 2-3 days a week onsite. Job Description Projects may span multiple technologies but will be focused on ecommerce implementations, commerce consulting and managed services engagements. Develop project plans, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to the defined scope. Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed. Collaborate with stakeholders, both internal and external, to confirm project goals, scope, and requirements. Manage client relationships and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Lead cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, marketers, and other project resources. Provide guidance and direction to team members, ensuring collaboration and high-quality project deliverables. Allocate project resources, ensuring that team members have the necessary capacity to complete their tasks. Monitor resource use and make adjustments to improve project efficiency. Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Manage risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize their impact on project outcomes. Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost control. Facilitate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and senior management. Provide regular project status updates and reports, highlighting milestones and risks. Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and follow best practices. Implement quality control processes to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project management efficiency. Foster a culture of learning and innovation within the project team. Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, requirements, change requests, and other project-related artifacts. Ensure documentation of project decisions and outcomes. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, in related field A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on commerce projects or complex enterprise impacting projects. Experience managing complex projects from initiation to completion. In-depth understanding of digital technologies, trends, and best practices. Familiarity with commerce process, user experience (UX) design, web and mobile development, content management systems (CMS), and digital marketing. Experience managing project budgets, allocating resources, and ensuring project profitability. Experience managing client relationships, understanding client needs, and ensuring client satisfaction. Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and experience applying them to digital projects. Working knowledge or experience using Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce (Magento), Shopify or similar products Gather and analyze project metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement. Ability to travel as needed. The annual salary range for this position is $78,000-126,500. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
