Collaborating closely with other internal teams, we:</p><ul><li><p>Pinpoint what drives global audiences to join, stay engaged with, and remain loyal to Disney+</p></li><li><p>Conduct in-depth analyses to understand how our titles, portfolios, and brands meet the diverse needs of our worldwide viewers</p></li><li><p>Leverage platform metrics to optimize content delivery—ensuring the right content reaches the right audience at the right time</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What You Will Do</b></p><p><br>Reporting to the Senior Manager, Programming Insights, we are looking to hire <b>two Programming Insights Associates</b> who will play a vital role in shaping our global programming strategy by analyzing how content decisions impact subscriber engagement and contribute to Disney+’s overall success.</p><p></p><p>These positions will leverage first-party data to generate actionable insights that inform content planning and scheduling across international markets. The Associates will work closely with teams such as Data Science, Content Analytics, Consumer Insights, CP&A, Business Operations, and Product Analytics to support strategic decisions regarding global release timelines, local content strategies (original and licensed), and localization initiatives.</p><p></p><p>We are seeking candidates with a strong curiosity for data, who excel at exploring complex datasets and transforming insights into clear, persuasive narratives.</p><p></p><p>Beyond analytical responsibilities, these roles will help foster a collaborative team culture that promotes continuous learning, diverse perspectives, and open sharing of ideas from all contributors.</p><p><span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">               </span></p><h2><b>Responsibilities</b></h2><ul><li><p>Assist in the creation of actionable, context-rich, and cross-functional reports and insights designed to optimize our programming strategy and support high-level decision-making.</p></li><li><p>Develop innovative methodologies and fresh perspectives to better understand the value of content for our audiences and the overall service.</p></li><li><p>Regularly collaborate with cross-functional partners—including Data Science, Consumer Insights, CP&A, and Product Analytics—to align on priorities, plan initiatives, and drive new projects forward.</p></li><li><p>Promoting knowledge-sharing across the broader Programming organization.</p></li><li><p>Stay informed on industry trends and emerging developments within the SVOD landscape to ensure our strategies remain competitive and forward-thinking</p></li></ul><h2></h2><p></p><h2><b>Required Qualifications & Skills </b></h2><ul><li><p><span>Minimum of </span><span>3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related discipline.</span></p></li><li><p>Proficiency in Excel, Looker, Tableau, and SQL, with demonstrated ability to efficiently manipulate and analyze large datasets, including cohort analysis.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, complemented by high intellectual curiosity and meticulous attention to detail.</p></li><li><p>Excellent data storytelling and communication abilities, with the talent to translate complex data into clear, meaningful insights tailored to diverse audiences.</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt quickly to changing priorities.</p></li><li><p>Genuine passion for the entertainment industry and a deep curiosity about the streaming landscape.</p></li><li><p>Experience in data visualization and creating concise, impactful materials that effectively summarize insights.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><h2><b>Preferred Qualifications </b></h2><ul><li><p>Prior experience within the entertainment or streaming industry is a plus.</p></li></ul><h2></h2><p></p><h2><b>Required Education </b></h2><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b>Additional Information</b></h2><ul><li><p>These two positions are based in the Glendale, CA office, with a 4-day in-office schedule and typically working from home on Fridays.</p></li></ul><p></p>The hiring range for this position in CA is $87,800.00 to $116,700.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
