In this role you will be responsible for maintaining effective supply, cost, quality and service for Contract Manufacturers in the North America Division. You will develop and implement strategies for sourcing Contract Manufacturers, resolving service/quality issues and driving savings opportunities.



Responsibilities:

Accountable for Procurement Key Performance Indicators and strong collaboration with key cross functional business partners

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal terms, pricing, and conditions

Analyse procurement data, market trends, and pricing conditions to support decision-making

Assist with the development, negotiation, and implementation of contract agreements with Contract Manufacturers

Implementing outstanding strategies and maintaining relationships and alliances with current suppliers so that they are in tune with developments and directions in Colgate business units

Identifying, developing, and leading strategic business relationships, internally and externally, to ensure the alignment of sourcing strategies & project implementation to meet business requirements

Collaborate with suppliers, technical and other functional groups as well as CMS, Technology, Marketing and Finance functions to implement Procurement policies, resolve issues, align service and financial strategies

Leads continuous improvement programs with suppliers including savings projects

Support the Supplier Relationship Management program by completing a Holistic Risk Assessment and audits on contract manufacturers

Support Responsible Sourcing initiatives

Maintain strong supplier relationships to proactively mitigate possible service and/or quality issues

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or related field

3+ years of Procurement, Supply Chain, Financial or Marketing related experience

Strong proficiency with MS Excel or G Suite pivot tables or VLookup for data analysis


Preferred Qualifications:

An advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification (CPM, CPIM, or Project Management)

Process improvement experience using Lean Six Sigma or similar methodology

Be a capable negotiator able to handle significant amounts of ambiguity and negotiating conditions

Practical experience with core procurement skills, such as market analysis, contract development and management, supplier selection, negotiation, supplier performance, and supplier relationship management, as well as some Marketing specific knowledge

Practical experience in crafting RFP’s

Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem solving skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $83,200.00 - $117,500.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
