Job Title: Part Time Senior Civil Engineer Work Location: Atlanta, GASalary: Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interviewDuties/Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring client satisfaction, budget control, and regulatory compliance while adhering to high standards of quality and safety. Team Coordination: Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, both local and remote, ensuring clear communication and efficient cross-functional teamwork to meet project objectives. Innovative Design Solutions: Utilize technical expertise to develop innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective engineering solutions, addressing complex challenges in all projects. Mentorship and Development: Provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a learning environment that promotes growth, skills development, and team success. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all projects meet applicable industry standards, codes, and environmental regulations, and comply with company policies and legal requirements. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring positive project experiences and identifying opportunities for future business growth. Budgeting and Scheduling: Oversee project planning, cost estimation, and scheduling to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery. Quality Control: Conduct quality control and assurance reviews on engineering designs and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client expectations and industry standards. Industry Expertise: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to incorporate innovative approaches into project solutions.Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) registration required, registration in Georgia preferred Minimum of 10 years of experience in Civil Engineering, with a diverse background in land development/site design, commercial, office, higher education, mixed-use, residential, healthcare, municipal projects including: Managing multiple, concurrent projects Leading design team efforts Successfully managing project budgets and schedules Interfacing with a multi-discipline design team Mentoring junior staff In depth knowledge of State and Local government regulations affecting civil design and permitting processes. Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other industry- standard tools. Strong leadership capabilities with excellent written and verbal communication, report writing, organizational, and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and provide clear guidance and leadership. Metro Atlanta experience and relationships a plus Ability to lead and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
