In order to support our students in achieving their goals and transitioning to a less restrictive environment, you are willing to learn and work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams. You aim to provide individualized care to promote educational, socio-emotional, and behavioral skill development plans. RESPONSIBILITIESWork with students to support educational and treatment programs, such as developing academic, communication, behavioral, vocational, and independent living skills.Prepare program materials (both educational and social/emotional), and record dataImplement students' IEP goals and objectives in all relevant training environments, including school, community, and vocational settingsBe a problem solver and active team member in collaborative meetingsMaintain a willingness to learn, reflect, and give/get feedback in a dynamic environmentBe present, both in daily attending and engaging with students and co-workersDrive students to school or home, as needed, and to/from community outingsQUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentBachelor's degree preferred, but not requiredEffective oral and written communication skillsAbility to think and act autonomously in a variety of situationsAbility to physically respond to physically active and aggressive children, adolescents, and young adults. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as, but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, internal equity, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
