Job Description

As an Operator Services Representative, your primary responsibility will be to respond to a high volume of customer contacts who are requesting operator assistance. The Operator Services Representative will be required to quickly respond to customer needs and provide exceptional customer service while working quickly and efficiently. The successful candidate will be action oriented, customer focused, a quick learner, and able to build peer relationships to work effectively as a member of a team. It is important to adhere to schedules and manage time effectively to achieve monthly and quarterly performance goals.

What you'll do

  • Respond to high volume of inbound calls from existing and/or new customers, providing customers with relevant, accurate information
  • Answer customer questions and provide appropriate solutions
  • Maintain a customer focus by listening actively and maintaining composure
  • Efficiently use search tools to complete 411 look-ups for residential, business and international listings
  • Maintain customer's contact list and other phone features or services and assist with adding, removing or editing entries and/or value-added services
Basic Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 6 months of customer service and/or call center experience taking inbound or placing outbound calls to customers required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience within the wireless or telecommunications industry preferred
