Role and Responsibilities As a Warehouse Material Handler at Amazon, you will be responsible for ensuring that orders are processed accurately and shipped on time. This active, hands-on role requires working in a high-energy environment where teamwork and technology are essential. Key responsibilities include: • Receiving and Processing: Unload, inspect, and organize incoming shipments and materials. • Picking and Packing: Use handheld scanners to select customer orders and securely pack products for delivery. • Shipping: Label, stage, and prepare packages to ensure timely shipment. • Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times. • Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, carts, or forklifts (with certification) safely and perform required safety checks. • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational targets. • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all Amazon safety standards, OSHA regulations, and PPE requirements.
