Instant Urgent Care is currently seeking experienced Medical Assistants and Receptionists in the area.

About the Role:
Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year experience in Urgent or Primary Care (Clinical).

Key Back-Office Tasks:
Run testing analyzers, patient/provider support, vital sign reporting, administer injections, perform EKGs, eye/vision exams, assist with various physicals / DOT physicals, ear lavage, administer vaccines for immunizations, flu vaccines, TB tests, collection of various specimens, run lab tests such as UA, HBA1C, pregnancy test, Flu, Strep test. Covid-19 specimen collection and testing, application of dressings and bandages on laceration/injuries. Maintaining inventory / lab logs and restocking rooms. Tray setup for various procedures such as PAP smears, sterile laceration repairs, incision and drainage. Duties also include daily general housekeeping, sanitizing and maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the clinic and your workspace. Other various tasks assigned and directed by the clinical providers or supervisors.

Key Front Office Tasks:
Answer multiple phone lines, greeting and assisting patients/providers, schedule appointments, verification of patient demographics and insurance information, data entry and managing documents to EMR, collecting payments from patients, and maintaining clinic cash logs and inventory logs. Duties also include daily general housekeeping, sanitizing and maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the clinic. Other various duties as assigned and directed by the clinical providers or supervisors.

License / Certifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (Required), BLS Certification
