Job DescriptionAt Sheffield Pharmaceuticals, the home of the original Sheffield Toothpaste, we offer exclusive, quality, branded products to promote wellness and relief to our customers. Our wellness and first aid products include a variety of creams and ointments, nasal products, and toothpaste all made in the USA since 1850.We currently have a part time (24 to 30 hours per week) Material Handler position open at our Norwich location. Experience in Shipping/Material Handling, including use of Forklift and Pallet Jacks preferred.Key Responsibilities:Receives or prepares for shipment incoming or outgoing parts, materials, and finished products.Verifies items against packing lists, make counts and maintain records.Distribute incoming small package materials to the designated department.Logs, copies and distributes paperwork to the appropriate departments, as directed.Maintain cleanliness and appearance of work area.Works overtime when required by management.Willingly accepts assignments in other areas/departments as needed.Maintain proper liaison with all departments to contribute to the team philosophy.Responsible for following all safety regulations and complying with SOP's, DEP, EPA, OSHA, FDA, and cGMP's while performing duties.Follow all environmental and OSHA requirements. Attend in-house training sessions.Other assigned tasks as necessary assigned by Management.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in Shipping/Material Handling, including use of Forklift and Pallet Jacks preferred.Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs, twist, lift, climb ladders, and move materials up to 2,000 lbs with a manual pallet jack.Computer proficiency, strong analytical skills, and effective communication skills.Sheffield Pharmaceuticals is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
