Job Summary

As a Manufacturing Planner Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing program planning and manufacturing planning activities, ensuring effective management of production schedules, material procurement, and workflow prioritization. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain management, to drive business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage production schedules, material procurement, and workflow prioritization to ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain management, to drive business objectives.
  • Ensure data integrity in the MRP system and effective management of kit issues and hardware needs.
  • Implement and manage engineering and process changes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Provide status reports and analyze production data to inform business decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with manufacturing supervision and industrial engineering team members to prioritize workflow.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Completed bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineer, or a related major.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree from an accredited college in a field such as supply chain management, operations management, or business SAP ERP experience.
  • Past experience with Buy Planning, Manufacturing, and/or Make Planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce, or business.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS).
  • Inventory control and material handling knowledge, including experience with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas.
  • Ability to obtain Green belt certification.
  • Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists.
  • ASCM Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification.
  • Proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs.
  • Very good organization and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
