The successful candidate meets safety, production, sustainability, and quality standards.  The Material Handler interacts with other departments to achieve the company’s core strategies and moves products to accommodate production.<br><br><strong>Why Work At MCC<br><br></strong><ul><li>Compensation: $18/hr + 1,000 sign on bonus</li><li>This is a 2nd Shift Position</li><li>Generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401(k)</li><li>Paid Holidays: New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus two floating holidays <br><br></li></ul><strong> Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Reads and understands Job Tickets and layouts to produce the correct product of the highest quality. </li><li>Understands and executes plan schedules in an accurate and prompt manner to effectively maximize throughput. </li><li>Works closely with all Associates to coordinate the workflow. </li><li>Performance metrics must be at the average or greater for this position. </li><li>Completes required documentation in an accurate and prompt manner. </li><li>Safely operates material moving equipment. </li><li>Assists in maintaining equipment for optimal operation, including adjustments. Assists with preventative maintenance. </li><li>Correctly enters information into systems for job tracking and payroll. </li><li>Disposes of waste materials into proper storage containers. Mark and identify containers with required documentation. </li><li>Complies with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations (IE: GMP, HAACP, BRC) as applicable. </li><li>Interacts and behaves professionally. Treats all associates respectfully and professionally while maintaining the company code of ethics. </li><li>Responsible for maintaining daily housekeeping efforts. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skill, and ability. </li><li>Ability to operate material handling equipment. Forklift experience, required.</li><li>Basic math and reading skills. </li><li>Computer literacy. </li><li>Good interpersonal and communication skills. </li><li>The physical demands require standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. </li><li>This position requires frequent walking. </li><li>Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. </li><li>Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. </li><li>Knowledge in Inventory Control and shipping/receiving activities is a plus. <br><br></li></ul><em><strong>For over a century, Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) has crafted premium labels for the world’s most iconic and recognizable brands.
