LABORER

We are looking to fill a Laborer position in Prescott AZ. As a laborer, you are vital to project success by ensuring safety, efficiency, and progress on the job site. You’ll have the opportunity to work outdoors, collaborating with a team to safely complete underground utility construction projects. This role allows you to enjoy the fresh air, provides a chance to learn new skills, and builds valuable industry experience. This role can be physically demanding and requires work in various weather conditions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Load or assist with loading materials or equipment
  • Utilize hand tools to dig near existing underground utilities
  • Prepare pre-trip equipment prior to mobilizing to job site
  • Assist in securing the work site, equipment, and materials at the end of each shift
  • Prepare documents, reports, or job aids related to work, equipment, and safety
  • Perform miscellaneous duties assigned

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Keen attention to safety
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic
  • Detail orientated
  • Coachable, willing to follow instructions
  • Tolerates a wide range of weather conditions, including hot and cold weather
  • The physical activity required for this role includes:
    • Standing or walking for long periods of time on uneven and variable terrain
    • Repeatedly lifting heavy loads (up to 50 lbs.),
    • Other repetitive movements, such as kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
