We are currently seeking candidates for a remote Healthcare Incident Investigator position supporting one of our Global Clients.</p> <p><strong>To be considered for the position, you will need to have the following experience and ability:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Some college and a combination of investigations experience and education will be considered.</li> <li>3-5 years of experience in healthcare-based investigations</li> <li>Previous military or government investigative experience preferred</li> <li>Experience conducting and coordinating large and complex investigations related to workplace violence, employee issues, and behavioral issues.</li> <li>Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills</li> <li>Strong communication skills</li> </ul> <h3>ROLE DESCRIPTION:</h3> <ul> <li>This position supports the Protection Services Operations Center in responding to and abating workplace violence and physical threat incidents.</li> <li>The position involves rapid responses (in a remote environment) to workforce members involved in workplace violence incidents, threat events, and distressed situations.</li> <li>This position engages high-stress situations to ensure incident response, threat abatement, and after-care support for involved workforce members and/or company facilities.</li> <li>This work includes interviewing workforce members who have experienced threat events or distressed situations; interviewing witnesses; coordinating law enforcement / emergency responses; and preparing either comprehensive case files or preparing intake reports to pass-on to the Investigations Unit.</li> <li>The position provides comprehensive intelligence on threat actors, including but not limited to comprehensive reviews of an actor’s bio, court history, criminal history, and social media activity,</li> <li>The position serves as a law enforcement liaison on a range of responsibilities, including rapid incident response coordination and LE support requests.</li> <li>The position supports in coordinating/scheduling close protection agents for select field and company events.</li> <li>The position will support in developing and facilitating training on a range of workplace violence topics, including field security best practices and active shooter survival training.</li> </ul> <h3>QUALIFICATIONS:</h3> <p><strong><u>Candidates for this position should meet the following qualifications</u></strong>.</p> <ul> <li>Excellent report writing and case management skills.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Strong analytical and research skills.</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure.</li> <li>Ability to adjust work schedule as needed during threat events.</li> <li>Experience coordinating with law enforcement at a regional or national level.</li> <li>Ability to deal with high stress situations.</li> <li>Healthcare / HIPAA experience a strong plus.</li> </ul> <h3>Benefits:</h3> <p>This Healthcare Incident Investigator position is a fully remote role and depending on experience, Securitas will offer a competitive salary of $96,000, in addition to a full benefits package that includes:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance</li> <li>10 accrued vacation days, 4 floating holidays, and 5 sick days.</li> <li>401K</li> </ul> <p>If joining our management team sounds like the right fit for you, please click apply today!</p> <h3>EOE/AA/M/F/Vets/Disabilities</h3> <h3>#AF-SSTA</h3> <p>Securitas employees come from all walks of life, bringing with them a variety of distinctive skills and perspectives.
