About the position

The Consulting, Manager position at Deloitte Consulting LLP involves managing information technology projects focused on software advisory and implementation services. Responsibilities

  • Manage information technology projects for software advisory and implementation services.
  • Evaluate the technology needs of organizations and develop strategies to increase profitability.
  • Coordinate day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors, maintaining contact with key decision makers.
  • Participate in the information technology project proposal development process and contribute to pricing strategies.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings related to IT projects, monitor milestones, and submit deliverables.
  • Ensure project execution adheres to budget, schedule, and scope, developing implementation plans that include cost-benefit analyses.
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Act as a counselor and coach, participating in staff recruitment and retention activities.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field.
  • 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of progressive related work experience.
  • Experience in all phases of Waterfall and Agile project delivery and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI, and Tableau reports for enterprise-level clients.
  • Ability to analyze and document current-state systems and processes using Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience utilizing Waterfall and Agile methodologies for project management.
  • Ability to resolve technical issues during project rollouts using Visual Studio, SSRS, SQL, SourceOffSite, and Team Foundation Server (TFS).
  • Experience tracking and reporting on project deliverable status using MS Project and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to design and deliver user manuals and training for solutions using MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
