We welcome experienced professionals in <b>editorial assessment, developmental editing, copy editing, proofreading, query letter review, or book coaching</b>.</p><p>As a freelance editor on Reedsy, you\'ll collaborate directly with authors in the genres of your choice. Besides delivering work that meets a high professional standard, you\'ll be expected to understand your client\'s needs and guide them through the editing process with your knowledge of the industry and their genre.</p><p>To maintain the quality of work on our platform, we carefully vet every professional before they join. If approved, you\'ll become visible to thousands of authors seeking top-tier editors and coaches. From there, you’ll start receiving project requests tailored to your skills and preferences.</p><p>You will choose which projects to take on, set your own rates, and manage your availability for new work.
